The purpose of this contract consist of the haul-out, blocking, lay-days and moorage of the vessel. The removal of existing exterior marine electronics, radar mast and rigging, all windows from the wheelhouse, galley and aft cabin and wheelhouse doors. Sandblast exterior superstructure, forward bulwarks from cap rail to deck, including deck forward hatch, wheelhouse roof, exhaust stack, galley and aft cabin, aft deck and associated side pockets, wheelhouse walls, galley, aft cabin and all window frames. Prep and paint, repair by means of welding in material, all sections exhibiting rust holes initially identified and other sections revealed during the sandblasting phase. Reinstall electronics; mount the fabricated aluminum mast and new and existing electronics and lights as per Government furnished items and items in the solicitation. Install new aluminum doors in wheel-house and aft cabin plus new aft facing starboard side window. Reinstall anchor-winch (including mounts), knuckle-boom crane and outboard fuel tank. Reinstall port lights in forward berth area. Provide and install Government approved (3, 12 volt) windshield wiper assemblies (complete). The M/V Tongass Ranger is currently located in Ketchikan, Alaska, Bar Harbor, float 9, stall no. 12. The performance period is 60 days.
