The Government intends to procure commercial item services under (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5) for MRI Maintenance and Repair Service. The Contractor shall provide MRI maintenance and intervening service calls. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts and transportation required to maintain and repair Government owned Magnetic Resonance Imaging System (MRI), Model Vision System 1.5 Teslar, manufactured by Siemens Medical Systems, Inc. The contractor shall also service cryogens. The equipment is located at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Center (VAGLHC), 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, California 90073, Building 507, Room Number 115. Required services shall consist of scheduled preventive maintenance inspections (PMI), servicing of cryogens, all necessary intervening service calls, and adjustment or replacement of worn or defective parts required due to equipment failure.
