The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion & Repair,has a requirement for Tank Preservation Team services. This requirement is being issued by GovWorks under the franchise authority of the department of Interior on behalf of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion & Repair. GovWorks/SUPSHIP intends to issue one or more indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) type contract(s) for the Tank Preservation Team services. This procurement is for commercial items and is being conducted under FAR Part 12 for commercial items. Under this contract, the contractor is to provide all the personnel, material and equipment necessary to perform Tank Preservation Team services, such as tank opening, cleaning, gas freeing, coating removal, surface preparation and coating application. These preservation and maintenance services will be performed for shipboard interior and exterior spaces and equipment designated by the Navy in accordance with Navy and industrial specifications and standards as well as with local, regional, state and federal laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures regarding safety, security, health, and the environment.
