The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 will be soliciting for preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs for a CLK C500 Forklift. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to provide maintenance in accordance with the statement of work (SOW). The SOW will be posted with the request for quote on www.fedbizopps.gov as well as www.dtra.mil. The Government anticipates award of a fixed price Time and Material purchase order as a result of this request for quote. The period of performance shall be one year from date of award with four 1 year options. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. The anticipated date for release of the RFQ is March 22, 2006 with award anticipated April 14, 2006. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies and procedures contained in FAR Parts 12 and 13, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Numbered Note 1 applies.
