The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with the BD Diagnostics Tripath Imagining, Inc. at 780 Plantation Drive, Burlington, NC 27215 to provide preventive maintenance, full maintenance and emergency repair on the Tripath Slide Stainer System, Model Prestain, Serial Number 2526; Jouan Centrifuge, Model C422, Tripath Computer, Model ECDG020520; Tripath Computer Monitor, Model Q41; Tripath Prep Mate, Model 2000; and the Tripath Multi-Vial Vortexer, Model 30CR000106 located at the Central Alabama Health Care System, Montgomery, AL. The Period of Performance for this procurement will be April 15, 2011 through September 30, 2011 plus 4- one (year) options to renew. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811219 with a standard size of $7 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 3 days after publication of this synopsis.
