Naval Sea Systems Command, Program Executive Office Littoral Mine Warfare (PEO LMW), intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over a three year period under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-06-G-6334 with Raytheon Company, 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, Rhode Island. This will allow for the ordering of labor, material, and documentation necessary to evaluate, inspect, maintain, disassemble, repair, overhaul, refurbish, assemble and test the AQS-20 and AQS-20A Sonar, Mine Detecting Set. Orders will be issued pursuit to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c )(1). Raytheon Company is the sole designer, developer, producer and supplier of the AN/AQS-20 and AN/AQS-20A Systems. As such, Raytheon Company is the only source with the expertise and in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment requirement to satisfactorily perform the work under the orders contemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to provide the supplies and services required. The estimated period of performance is December 2005 through December 2008.
