Statement of work
Load testing of Multi-point Refueling Pod Lifting and Transportation Cradle
(Part No. 6605135)
1. Scope of work. Perform load test on all required parts of the MPRS lifting and transportation cradle assembly to include lifting sling bridles assemblies and slings restraint strap assembly and restraint straps In accordance with the provided technical data.
2. Location of work. Where feasible the work should be conducted in Bldg 1169 Rm McConnell AFB, Kansas
3. Character of Task. The work to be done consists of furnishing all the necessary labor, expenses, and materials for the work described in Paragraph 1 and elsewhere through this Statement of work. The work shall be executed in the highest quality attainable, in a manner consistent with all the requirements outlined in the original contract statement of work (i.e.), including those key provisions described below.
4. Contractor Quality Assurance. The contractor shall be responsible for the quality of all completed work. The contractor shall ensure all work performed has been checked for quality comprehensiveness and accuracy.
5. Government furnished equipment and facilities. None under this contract.
6. Access to the project site. The contractor shall coordinate installation passes and parking arrangements with the using agency?s facility manager.
7. Work hours and special conditions.
a. Normal duty hours. Normal duty hours shall be an eight-hour period between
0700 and 1600 hours Monday through Friday exclusive of Federal holidays. Work outside of normal working hours, on weekends and federal holidays, is permitted at the option of the government at no additional cost to the government with notice to the using agency facility manager at least 48hrs before the start of the scheduled work.
b. Special Conditions. The contractor shall provide the work with the least possible inconvenience and interference to the government. The contractor shall take all possible inconvenience and interference to the government. The contractor shall take all possible precautions to prevent damage to government property. All damaged areas shall be repaired at no cost to the governments directed by the contracting officer.
8. Safety. The contractor shall comply with all base fire, safety and confined space regulations while completing their work.
9. Governing standards and regulations. Analysis, evaluation and work shall be in accordance with and based on the following current publications as well as all others applicable to the safe efficient and economical operation of lifting systems related to the department of defense or military service branch regulations, handbooks and operating instructions.
