The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support the upcoming Restricted Availability (RAV) on the IX-516. The type of work being performed will include structural, electrical, HVAC and piping changes to a limited area of the barge.is hull, machinery, electrical, and piping work. Work will be performed at NPTU site in Charleston SC. Interested parties must have or be able to obtain a Master Ship Repair Agreement prior to contract award. The Government's market research is based on FAR Part 19 and the result of the market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
