Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order to the AN/ALE-50 contract N00019-05-G-0011 with Raytheon to provide contractor support services for the AN/ALE-50 (V) program. to procure materials and determine repairs of the AN/ALE-50 (V). Raytheon will examine the United States Navy Integrated Multi-Platform Launch Controller (IMPLC) and determine repair requirements and repair cost estimates. Materials needed to repair or replace damaged components are to be procured in anticipation of actual need, especially long-lead items. The intent is to return the (IMPLC) to in a serviceable, not new condition. Raytheon is the designer, developer and sole producer of the AN/ALE-50 (V) system and the only firm possessing the requisite technical knowledge and expertise, facilities, tooling and special test equipment necessary to repair all components in a timely manner.
