This procurement is for Hone and Chrome services for 688 and 726 Class triper and non-triper submarine components such as accumulator cylinders, tail rods, and muzzles. The requirement will consist of a base year and one option year. The components requiring the remanufacturing will be shipped to the Contractor's facility by the Government. Remanufactured components will be returned to the Government via FOB Origin. Transportation cost to ship the components to the contractor's facility and from the contractor's facility to Subase Bangor will be evaluated. The period of performance for any contract resulting from this solicitation will be from date of award through one-year thereafter, with one one-year option period. This is a Best Value requirement requiring a technical proposal. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS.
