Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), intends to issue a sole source award to Hologic Inc for preventive and corrective maintenance service plan for the Mammography System use at used in tertiary health care facilities at Fayetteville VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, North Carolina. This will be an annual contract (12 months ) with no option years.
This is a preventive and corrective service maintenance contract with 24x7 phone support and consultation. This includes unlimited support requests. Remote diagnostics, including patches, software downloads. This will be a one year (12 months) base contract with no option years. NAICS Code for this acquisition is 811219, Size Standard $20.5 Million Dollars.
Vendor shall provide all service, tools, equipment, personnel, transportation, and lodging necessary for performing full corrective and preventive maintenance on the Hologic Mammography System in use at the Fayetteville Healthcare Center facility. This service is required to ensure maximum uptime for this state-of-the-art mammography system. This system is used to image the female anatomy for the purpose of identifying treatment of a variety of medical conditions
This is not a request for competitive offers and a solicitation is not available; however, all expressions of interest received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. Market research has determined that these support services are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date of ********* to Hologic Inc.
