RCO Livorno Sub-Office is issuing this notice to solicit industry interest in the following project. The purpose of this notice is to advertise the forthcoming solicitation to the maximum number of offerors.

PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: SEMI-ANNUAL CLEANING AND DISINFECTION OF ALL FAN COILS AND SPLITS, PROJECT ED-00501-1P; USAG LIVORNO, CAMP DARBY, ITALY

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, material and transportation necessary to perform the work described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in strict compliance with the ISPESL (Superior Accident Prevention and Job Security Institute) standards and CEI (Italian Electronic Committee) standards.

The Contractor shall maintain, inspect, clean and disinfect fan coils and splits systems at USAG Livorno in a manner to help to prevent growth or build-up of lime and harmful bacteria. Maintenance work for each system shall be performed semi-annually using methods recommended by manufacturers with a preventive Schedule Plan submitted and approved by Contracting Officer Representative.

FUNDING: The project is funded.

LOCATION OF THE WORK: The site of the proposed work is USAG LIVORNO, Italy

MAGNITUDE OF THE PROJECT: The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.

METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Quotes (RFQ) resulting in a firm fixed price contract.

PERFORMANCE PERIOD: 12 AUGUST 2011 - 11 AUGUST 2012

SITE VISIT: The site visit will be held on Monday, June 13th, at 9:30 a.m.

MEETING POINT FOR THE SITE VISIT: Department of Public Works (DPW) Conference Room, Bldg. #5155; Depot Area
