The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Mission Division, Fort Gordon, Georgia intends to obtain ENVI - LICENSE AND NETWORK RENEWAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES on an annual basis for the 513th MI BDE at Fort Gordon, GA on a SOLE SOURCE basis from RESEARCH SYSTEMS, INC. DBA ITT VISUAL INFORMATION SOLUTIONS. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), Only One Responsible Source. Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 to issue a base contract. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will NOT be issued. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
