Anticipated Issue Date14 NOV 2005 – Anticipated Closing Date 13 DEC 2005 – 3:00 PM EST This requirement is for engineering and manufacturing development of ODIS advanced robotic systems and applicable maintenance and support of the systems. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis with Kuchera Defense Systems, Inc., Windber PA, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration database. Delivery of the systems is required F.O.B. Destination within 60 days of contract award. It is anticipated that options will be included in the Schedule of Supplies/Services for Low-Rate-Initial-Production (LRIP) units, and production units. If so, delivery criteria for the Options will be FOB Destination 60 days from Option exercise date. It is also anticipated that options will included for engineering support services and possibly Provisioned Item Orders (PIOs). Inspection and acceptance shall be at ! destination.
