The USCG MLCP, Alameda, CA, is considering a HubZone set-aside contract at Kodiak, AK, for Dockside Repairs on USCGC SPAR, a 225’ buoy tender. Work will be accomplished during the period of 31 August 2004 through 10 Sept 2004. Contractor will be required to accomplish the following; install a new Ship’s Oil Recovery System (SORS), magazine modification, deck covering (internal seal) and temporary services. The HubZone firm must meet the requirements of (FAR 52.219-3) which states “at least 50% of the cost of personnel for contract performance will be spent for employees of the concern or employees of other HUBZone small business concerns”. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees. Firms that have been certified as small business HubZone by the SBA and are interested in this acquisition, must submit the following information: (a) company name and address; (b) Company’s POC, including telephone and facsimile numbers and e-mail address; (c) HubZone certification to Rebecca Budde at [email protected], not later than 14 April 2004. A decision whether this will be pursued as a HubZone small business set-aside or not will be posted on www.eps.gov by 27 April 2004.
