This is a combined synopsis/request for quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested an a written solicitation will not be issued. DHQCSD06MPA0134 CORAS 516605 is the RFQ number. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Subpart 12.3. The NAICS code is 335312. CLIN 0001; Repair Emergency Generator Radiators. Services, Non-Personal. Provide all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and supervision to repair radiators on two (2) 1200DS60 Spectrum Emergency Generators at DISA PE Chambersburg, 1 Overcash Drive, Building 3, Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA, in accordance with the requirements statement as a firm fixed price contract. Site contact for technical questions is Jim Mills at (717) 267-565.Requirements Statement: Scope of work for two 1200DS60 Spectrum Emergency Generators 1. Drain coolant from systems. 2. Install coolant flush from engines to remote radiator located on roof. 3. Run units for 2 hours then drain all coolant from unit and refill with water, flushing cooling systems until clear 4. Supply labor and material to re-core and repair eight existing radiator cores, along with top and lower tanks. Provide pressure test on radiators and tank. 5. Supply all labor and material to remove and replace all, exhaust manifold gaskets, exhaust flange gaskets, valve cover gaskets, water outlet gaskets, coolant hoses and clamps. 6. Supply all labor and material to install new antifreeze in system. A minimum temperature of minus 30 will be acceptable. 7. All new material will be used to replace cores, gaskets, seals, nuts, bolts, hose clamps, etc. 8. Only one unit can be off line at any time. 9. Upon completion contractor will be required to have successful full load test with a run time for two hours. 10. Work will be done during the hours of 0700 thru 1700. Some flexibility may be needed. 11. Open flame permits must be obtained through the depot fire department. 24 hour notice is requested. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with the proposal. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions, Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items apply to this requirement. Written cost and technical proposals shall be submitted not later than 30 December 2005 at 4:00 PM, Central Standard Time. Only electronic proposals will be accepted.
