The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Delivery Order under BOA N00019-06-G-0011 on a sole source basis for material lay-in for the AN/ALQ-165 (V) Airborne Self Protection Jammer (ASPJ) with a Joint Venture ITT Industries, Inc. and Northrop Gruman in Clifton, New Jersey. Effort is as follows: Purchase materials in sufficient quantity to repair Weapons Replacement Assemblies (WRA’s) currently awaiting parts, and for the support of future repair requirements on the AN/ALQ-165 (V) systems. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Joint Venture ITT Industries Inc. and Northrop Grumman in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. ITT Industries Inc./Northrop Grumman are the only qualified sources which possess the detailed knowledge of the AN/ALQ-165(V) design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
