The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 3), James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx New York, Network Acquisitions and Logistics anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract for 2 DRX-1 and 2 detectors for Service Preventive Maintenance & Inspection: The contractor shall perform Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) service to ensure that equipment listed in the schedule performs in accordance with Section C, III, Conformance Standards. The contractor shall make thorough technical inspections of the equipment covered in the Schedule. Within ten (10) days after the award of the contract, the contractor shall submit a schedule of PMIs and a PMI checklist describing in detail the scheduled maintenance procedures for inspecting each piece of equipment listed. This checklist is subject to the approval of the COR. The contractor shall provide and utilize these procedures and checklists with worksheet originals indicating the work performed and actual values obtained (as applicable) provided to the COTR at the completion of the PMI. All interested parties must be certified by Carestream Health, Inc. and be able to provide current proof of certifications from Carestream to work on this equipment. This will be completed where the equipment is located at the Hudson Valley Healthcare Systems Castle Point, Rt. 9D, Castle Point NY, 12511 and FDR, 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose NY, 10548, Campuses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 334510. There is no set aside, this is to be Full and Open Competition. The Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation will be issued on or about January 30, 2014. All information for this solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential bidders MUST register at FedBizOpps www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notifications and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps website.
