The Department of Homeland Security, Administrative Center Burlington intends to award a sole source contract to Symquest Group, 30 Community Drive, South Burlington, VT 05403 for themainternance of 34 Canon and 1 Ricoh photocopy machines located in various facilities of the Vermont Service Center in Chittenden and Franklin Counties of Vermont. Symquest is the local authorized dealer for Canon and Ricoh photocopiers and therefore is the sole manufacturer's representative in the immediate area. This synopsis is a notice of intent to award under other than full and open competition and should not be viewed as a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by the date identified above will be considered by the Governmant. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
