The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17 (NCO 17) intends to issue sole source a firm fixed priced commercial item contract to Olympus America Inc., 3500 Corporate Parkway, Central Valley, PA 18034-0610. to perform on site preventive maintenance services on the 17 Olympus GI Video Endoscopes equipment, in accordance with original equipment manufacturers written procedures. The Contractor shall provide preventive maintenance and unscheduled/corrective maintenance. Contractor shall provide all parts and/or labor for semi-annual preventive maintenance inspection to include supporting computer systems and software. This agreement will be for 12 months. The services will be performed at the Department of Veterans Affairs, South Texas Veterans Health Care System, at 2601 Veterans Way, Harlingen, Texas 78550-8595. On the following GI equipment: ULTRA SLIM 5.5 MM GAS MODEL GIF-XP-180N VIDEO GASTROSCOPE MODEL GIF-H180J CF-H180AL EVIS EXERA MODEL CF-H180AL PCF-H180AL EVIS EXER MODEL PCF-H180AL *Needs to be compatible with 180 EVIS Exera II Video Processor and Light Source. The repair of this equipment is needed in order to carry out the continuity of patient care. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), "soliciting from a single source." The NAICS code is 339112 and has a size standard of 500 employees for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 4PM CST, Thursday, September 10th 2015 to: [email protected]. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
