This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation to obtain a firm fixed price repair contract to repair LRUs 14 and 15 and associated shop replaceable units of the AN/ALQ-172 system. BEQ 16 each, Noun - LRU-14, NSN: 5985-01-429-4395EW, P/N 2637814G001; 16 each, Noun - LRU-15, NSN: 5985-01-429-4393EW, P/N 263785G002; 1 each, Noun – Phase Shifter Module, NSN: 5963-01-429-9094EW, P/N 181926-2; 1 each, Noun – Quadrant Switch, NSN: 5985-01-430-0439EW, P/N 181928-2; 2 each, Noun – Power Supply, NSN: 6130-01-432-0339EW, P/N 186188-1; and 4 each , Noun – Polarized Assembly, NSN: 5985-01-424-5689EW, P/N 179347-1; Condemnation Line Item; Over and Above Line Item related to the above; and 1 lot of Data. BEQ for Annual Options I through IV are the same as for the basic period. The government’s required delivery is 45 days from receipt of reparable asset or funded order, whichever is later. The proposed action is for supplies and services which the Government intends to solicit sole source from EMS Technologies, 660 Engineering Dr, Norcross GA, 30092-2821 (Cage Code: 31395) under the authority of FAR Clause 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, However, all proposals received within fourty-five days after the date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely the government’s discretion.
