The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified contractors to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Kenai Peninsula Borough for ITB25-008 Central Peninsula Landfill Leachate Infrastructure Improvements Phase II. Project includes but not limited to constructing a building to house a new leachate evaporator, new mechanical pump building, installing and plumbing of new pumps and piping in the existing mechanical building, assembly of the new evaporator system, electrical, gas upgrades, various site improvements, and the installation of a fire water tank located near the existing maintenance building. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Purchasing & Contracting Conference Room, 47140 E Poppy Lane, Soldotna, Alaska 99669 on August 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Attendance at the pre-bid is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. This project shall be funded in full through the Environmental Protection Agency: State and Tribal Assistance Grants, Clean Water State Revolving Fund. The full and complete terms and provisions of which shall be incorporated by this reference in the RFP and in the covered transaction. Federal funds for this project are identified by the Assistance Listing Number 66.202 “Congressionally Mandated Projects.” The federal program regulations 2 CFR 200, as applicable to the contractor, may be found online at https://ecfr.gov, Title 2 – Grants and Agreements. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds.
