Airport Tree Clearing Project involves tree clearing within specific areas outside of the limits of the air operations area (non-secure side). Scope of work includes general erosion and sedimentation control measures including sediment traps, skimmer basins, sediment basins, and silt fence per NCDEQ standards. Clearing and grubbing is not required; only cutting and removal of trees is specified as part of the project scope. A total of approximately 200 acres is anticipated for tree clearing.
