The intent of this Synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.201, is to advertise the Government's intent to add the following sole-source procurement of hardware for the Tube-Launched Optically-Tracked Wire-Guided (TOW) Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS) - adding scope and issuing an associated Task Order, to the already established contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017 with Raytheon Company.
Per DLAD 52.216-9006 (AUG 2005), Addition/Deletion of Items, the add-on procedures under this clause will be followed. There will be no separate solicitation issued for this action.
The US Army, Program Executive Office (PEO) Missiles and Space, Lower Tier Project Office (LTPO) has identified a need to procure two NSNs: 1430-01-615-5502 and 1430-01-556-1190
The Government does not own the complete specifications, plans, or drawings and intends to contract only with approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (I). Approved Source(s): Raytheon Company (CAGE 96214).
IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Contractors that would like to become source approved should follow the appropriate steps to become a source-approved supplier of these services as outlined on the AMCOM Competition Management Office website page entitled "Missile SAR Instructions" for more detailed information on the process.
