PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. The United States Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source, fixed price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), with Berla, 565 Maynadier Lane, Crownsville, MD 21032. The USSS intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Berla for the purchase of Blackthorn Kit, GPS Forensics Acquisition and Analysis Kit and the iVe Toolkit, Vehicle Forensics Kit with Power Supply. These kits are used at the National Computer Forensics Institute to conduct training on mobile forensics and acquisition. This is a Brand Name purchase.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
