The work to be done under this contract shall be started on or about January 18, 2022. All work under this contract shall be completed by November 30, 2023. The location of the services to be performed for this contract is the Elgin O'Hare Western Access Tollway (I-490) Railroad Track Relocation From South of Grand Avenue to Irving Park Road (IL 19) and Retaining Wall Construction from Tri-State (I-294) to Franklin Avenue between Mile Post 0.0 to Mile Post 1.8 in Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois.The work under this contract includes construction of two Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) mainline tracks from UPRR Mile Post 3.07 to Mile Post 4.84, one UPRR Yard 9 Bypass track from UPRR Mile Post 2.20 to Mile Post 3.80, construction and removal of two UPRR shoofly tracks from UPRR Mile Post 4.14 to 4.84, construction and removal of one UPRR shoofly track from UPRR Mile Post 3.07 to 3.80, construction of retaining walls, earthwork and subballast, drainage, erosion control, access road and fencing construction, and removal of two mainline tracks from UPRR Mile Post 3.07 to 3.80 and Mile Post 4.14 to 4.84.
