Sources sought for installation of antennas at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. The installation of these antennas require two concrete foundations. The foundations must support the weight of the antenna assembly, and also account for the Oklahoma environmental impacts, including soil and high winds: 1.8 Meter 1184 Series Antenna: 250 Lbs Non Penetrating Mount – 0800-1114: 260 Lbs To connect the two antenna, the contractor must install 4� conduit and underground RF cabling from inside the building to the newly poured concrete foundations. The RF cabling will enter the building through an existing egress box. The contractor will also be responsible for installing transient suppression devices in this egress box, for all newly installed RF cables. The Government requires that the contractor have past experience with antenna installation. Also, that the contractor have knowledge of RF transmission protocols and best practices. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate Competition exists to set-aside the Competition among small businesses, service disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement- This document should identify: Type of services provided by your firm, i.e. past experience with antenna installation, knowledge of RF transmission protocols. (provide detailed information and past performance), number of years in business. All responses to this market survey must be received by July 15, 2018 4:00 PM CS.
