The purpose of this amendment is to answer potential offeror questions which were due no later than June 23, 2008 at 2:00 PM EST. Also, we revised the Statement of Work language, in the Scope and Key Personnel Element sections
Question #1: Will all EMC personnel be required to be expert level engineers?
Answer #1: No.
Question #2: What track of expert level engineers will they be trained?
Answer #2: The track required to perform the work detailed in the SOW. In this SOW, DMX and Centera implementations are described, so EMC Proven Professional Experts in "Storage Administration" or "Technology Architect" tracks must be available.
The second paragraph in the Scope was changed to read âSuccessful completion of these tasks will require direct access to EMC engineering and existing IRS configuration information held by EMC, and full unfettered access to IRS facilities and personnel.â
The Key Personnel Element was changed to read âIt is the reasoned judgment of IRS Tier II Enterprise Operations that only EMC personnel can provide the required level of expertise, experience with the IRS, and knowledge and understanding of IRS integration and operational standardsâ.
