The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of Blood Disorders, National Center for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Sequenom, Inc. 3595 John Hopkins CT, San Diego, CA 92121-1331.
The selected vendor will provide:
1) iPlex Gold Genotyping Reagents-quantity-6 Catalog # 10148-2 Complete iPlex Gold Genotyping Reagent Set 384: includes iPlex Gold Reagent Kit, SAP and Buffer, iPlex Gold Enzyme and Buffer Plus, iPlex Gold Termination Mix, 3 pt Calibrant, 10 SpectroCHIPs II, Clean Resin 28g for 10 Chips, Complete PCR reagent set. The kit from Sequenom will allow multiplexed analysis of DNA polymorphisms.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting, or exceeding the requirement as stated herein may submit a capabilities statement detailing their capability to include past performance information, which will be considered only if received by response deadline contained in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
