Clemson University intends to sole source the renewal of our Ionwave License renewal. This purchase is to be sole sourced because it is that Ionwave is the only company that can support this software which is the software that drives the Clemson Online Bidding System and has been in use at Clemson for more than 10 years. Ionwave currently provides the university with a Clemson branded application, full cusomtization, and all the custom modules that have been developed by Clemson over the past 10+ years. The total price of all equipment to be ordered is this contract is $107,250, which includes all the software license and the annual maintenance/support, as well as free trials of any new modules as Clemson chooses to trial. Bidder’s right to protest as listed in Section 11-35-4210 in the South Carolina Consolidated Procurement Code applies to this announcement of an emergency procurement.
