INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to award a sole source award, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Dollar Threshold of 150,000) a firm fixed price award to purchase "IOM Roundtable Publications" in accordance with the attached Statement of Work to National Academy of Sciences, 500 Fifth Street NW, Washington, DC 20001-2736. The sole source award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253© (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A Justification and Approval was been approved and processed through Small Business Administration. This requirement is intended as a sole source contract because the National Academy of Sciences sole proprietor of the IOM Roundtable Publications.
