INVITATION TO BID TOWN OF CEDAR LAKE, INDIANA Y2020 AMBULANCE EQUIPMENT (LEASE PURCHASE) PURCHASE Sealed bids for the purchase (lease-purchase) of an Ambulance and Equipment will be received by the Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Cedar Lake at the Cedar Lake Town Hall, 7408 Construction Avenue, Cedar Lake, Indiana 46303, until 4:00 p.m., local prevailing time, on Monday, July 6, 2020. The Bids will be opened and read aloud on the same date at 4:15 p.m. in the Town Hall Administrative conference room. Any bids received later than the above time and date will be returned unopened. The proposal shall include: One (1) 2020 Ambulance - with lease-purchase financing, or other financing terms deemed acceptable to the Town. Detailed equipment specifications may be obtained at the Town Administrative Offices, 7408 Constitution Avenue, Cedar Lake, during regular business hours. Specifications will be provided at the cost of twenty dollars ($20.00) per set. All bids submitted must be sealed and properly labeled with the Bidder's name and contact information, and titled "2020 BID PROPOSAL TO THE TOWN OF CEDAR LAKE, INDIANA, FOR AMBULANCE AND EQUIPMENT". The bid shall be properly and completely executed, accompanied by a Non-collusion Affidavit and a satisfactory bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Amount by guaranteed funds, or bid bond surety approved by the Town. Further, the bid documents to be submitted will include Certification of No Connection with Iran and Certification of E-Verify Program. Bid security may be retained by the Town for a period of sixty (60) days for all bidders with bid security of the successful bidder to be retained until an agreement is executed. The successful bidder shall be required to submit a performance bond upon entry into an agreement. The Town of Cedar Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding if the Town Council deems it to be in the public interest.
