INVITATION TO BID MIDDLETOWN BOARD OF EDUCATION Bids shall be submitted Online on the Middletown Board of Education's e-Procurement Portal, which is currently found at https://mpsct.bonfirehub.com The bids will be received until 12:00 PM EST on February 04, 2022 for the following: BID# 2022-01 Replacement of the Metal Roofing Panels with Translucent Sections at the Middletown High School Main Gym The Middletown BOE is requesting bids to replace metal roofing panels above the main gym that have translucent sections with solid metal panels. The work will be performed at the Middletown High School located at 200 LaRosa Lane, Middletown, Connecticut, 06457. The intent of the work is to remove the 88 existing CFR translucent roofing panels over the main gym originally manufactured by Nucor Building Systems with 88 solid metal roofing panels of the same design and manufacture in available stock color (white preferred). Existing panels are manufactured by Nucor Building Systems for project W06S0044A/B and were distributed from their office at 305 Industrial Parkway, Waterloo IN 46793. It shall be understood that the Contractor shall provide and pay for all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, Crane and Crane operations and all other services and costs of every nature whatsoever necessary to protect, execute, complete, and deliver the work within the Contract period. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on January 27, 2022. The meeting will begin at 11 AM at Middletown High School, 200 LaRosa Lane, Middletown, CT 06457. Attendance at the meeting is not mandatory; however, it is recommended.
