In accordance with M.G.L. 30(B) the Superintendent of Schools as agent for the School Committee, 100 Rathbun Willard Drive, Attleboro, Massachusetts, is requesting bids for the TRANSPORTATION OF PUPILS – CITY OF ATTLEBORO FOR FISCAL YEARS JULY 1, 2022 - JUNE 30, 2025. Bid information may be obtained Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:30 pm at the Office of the Director of Finance and Controller, Attleboro School Department, 100 Rathbun Willard Drive, Attleboro, MA 02703. Bid proposals must be on forms supplied with the specifications, and must be clearly marked, in sealed envelopes with the bid name on the lower left hand corner. All bids must be submitted to Marc Furtado, Director of Finance, on or before 10:00 a.m. on April 28, 2022. There is a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference on April 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 178E Attleboro High School, Attleboro, MA 02703 Wage rates are subject to the minimum wage rates as per M.G.L. Chapter 71, Section 7A, as amended by chapter 729 of the Actos of 1962. All acceptable bids must be accompanied by a cashier’s check, a certified check, or a bid bond of 20% of the bid price for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023 and submitted with a letter of intent to provide a performance bond. The School Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids, as well as to award one contract which shall be considered to be in the best interest of the Attleboro Public Schools.
