THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE SMALL BUSINESSES AVAILABLE AND CAPABLE OF PROVIDING INVESTIGATION OF POST - AEROSOL IMMUNOPATHOLOGY OF THE LUNG SERVICES.

This notice is a Market Research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources, prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a solicitation.

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is seeking to determine the degree of interest and capability by U.S. small businesses in providing services relating to Investigation of Post - Aerosol Immunopathology of the Lung services located at USAMRIID, Fort Detrick, Maryland.

This service is normally provided by Sanofi Pasteur, whose services consists of Investigation of Post - Aerosol Immunopathology of the human Lung modular Immune Invitro construct to test and predict the immunogenic of antigens, adjuvants, and vaccines.

The service required include necessary trained, experienced personnel, labor, tools, diagnostic equipment and software, material, supplies, transportation and shipping, parts, and equipment necessary to perform services. Services shall be performed off-site at vendor's location.

Responses must clearly demonstrate capabilities through examples of previous and/ or current contracts for the specific services as listed above.

The Government anticipates release of a solicitation to industry for a single Firm Fixed Priced Purchase Order with a Period of Performance consisting of one (1) twelve-month base period plus four (4) optional periods that total forty eight (48) months.

Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Notice, the Government will determine whether the requirement will be solicited on a small business set aside or full and open basis. It is requested that all interested parties submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length) demonstrating its ability to perform the requested services.

Responses are due on Monday, October 24, 2016 by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice.
