•1.               The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award sole source, firm fixed price delivery orders under Basic Ordering Agreement N00421-17-G-0006 with Carlton Life Support Systems, Inc., Davenport, IA for the investigation of Physiological Episodes (PEs) and associated technical support in support of U.S. Navy T-45, U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18 C/D, and U.S. Navy / Foreign Military Sales F/A-18 C-F and EA-18G aircraft. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  As the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and supplier of the GGU-7 and GGU-12, only Carlton Life Support Systems, Inc. possesses the peculiar engineering capability, resources, expertise, intricate knowledge, and data necessary to satisfy the Government's minimum requirements.  Expressions of interest in subcontracting should contact Deanna Hessling at Cobham Mission Systems Sector, [email protected].  Any responses to this synopsis must be via e-mail to the Contract Specialist at [email protected].
