Project Summary:

 

Interpreter Services are required for a deaf student for classes and any recreation activities Mondays to Thursdays from 8:00am to 4:30pm and Fridays 8:00am to 3:00pm and any additional services as needed.  The base period of Performance is March 1st - October 31st 2017. There are two option periods: Option 1: November 1st 2017 to October 31st 2018 and Option 2: November 1st 2018 to December 31st 2018. Start date will be specified upon award of the contract.

 

 

 

 

•I.       Bid Requirements

 

•1.      Each bidder shall submit a bid based upon Part IV - Extent of Work that includes reference to the project listed in this scope of work. Any variations from the base scope of work are to be noted as distinctly separate from the base bid.

•2.      Bids shall be submitted for the work as a basis for the contract.  The prospective bidder shall submit a bid for a Single Lump Sum Contract.

•3.      The bid shall include a breakdown of the hourly cost to provide the service.

•4.      A minimum 90-day bid guarantee is required.

•5.      This project is tax-exempt.

•6.      Prior to starting any work, the contractor shall show proof of required insurance, in amounts to cover risk as stated below:

•·         Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance ( $1,000,000 combined single limit)

•·         Workers Compensation / Liability Insurance ($1,000,000 per occurrence)

•·         Fire Legal Liability of at least $500,000 per occurrence.

 

•7.      Final Bid Proposal shall be typed and submitted on official Company letterhead and must include the following:

•·         Scope of Work ID#, Project Description, Project Specific Requirements, Lump Sum Cost

•·         References

•·         Copies of all Insurance Certificates

•·         Copy of all licenses and certifications relevant to this proposal

•·         Completed  Vendor Questionnaire (with DUNS# if available) and W9

•·         Small Business Certification, if any

 

•8.      Net 30 payment terms

Award will be made to the offeror who provides Best Value to the Center when all Evaluation Criteria are considered. Lowest Price does not guarantee award of Sub Contract.
Adams and Associates retains the right to reject any and all bids.

 

  • WLJCC is seeking a vendor to provide Interpreter services(Sign Language) for a deaf student for the following:
  •  Classes  8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Thursdays and Fridays 8:00am - 3:30pm
  • Sports Activities - interpreter, hand signals and visual directions- for sports activity duration
  • Awarded Interpreter need to include provisions if they are unable to provide service on any given day.
  • Contractors are only paid for actual hours worked. (Lunch Breaks are unpaid)
