This action will allow NSF to maintain its membership status and to pay Internet2 the access fee in order to be able to connect to the Internet2. Membership is necessary so that NSF can collaborate in a variety of working groups, participate in strategic planning, and verify awards that are distributed via the network. The estimated value of the service is $165,000.00.

The period of performance will be October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013.

The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
