The National Science Foundation/Division of Information Systems (DIS) has a requirement for membership to the Internet2 Network, a nationwide research network. The program offer requires the Affiliate membership be renewed for one year starting on January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. Internet2 is the only provider of access to the Internet2 Network. Membership may only be procured through them directly. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 12.106.
