The Ottawa National Forest announces an opportunity for Professional Botanist Services for the Interior Botany Field Surveys.  Services are needed to conduct field surveys in selected stands in a interior vegetative management project for federally and state listed vascular plants and invasive plants.  Stands will be surveyed 3 times during the 2011-2012 growing seasons.  Plant species and habitat field notes will be recorded on data forms and provided to the Forest along with detailed information on any rare plant populations and priority invasive plant populations.

This acquisition is set-aside for Total Small Business and any resultant firm-fixed price contract award will be issued pursuant to FAR Part 19.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541990.  The Small Business Administration size standard is $7.0 million.  Contractors are required to be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
