The Whitney M. Young Job Corps is soliciting bids for a interior finishes project to be awarded by September 30, 2009.  Small business are encourged to bid.

The intent of this Scope of Work is to correct the interior finish issues at the Whitney M Young Job Corps Center.  The center interior finish issues include:

1.  Building 0001 

Replace approximately 200 SF of drywall and finish to match existing.

2.  Building 0007

 Rehab the restrooms (approximately 500 SF). The interior finish materials shall be ceramic tile floors, and wainscot, and drywall walls and ceiling. The new layout shall include a handicap accessible toilet and sink in each toilet room. Provide one audio-visual fire alarm device (15 cd) in each restroom (2 total) and connect to the existing fire alarm system. Replace existing ceramic tile flooring with a new VCT flooring, approximately 5,000 SF.

3.  Building 0009

Rehab restrooms. Install new finishes and new toilet partitions. The interior finish materials shall be ceramic tile floors and wainscot, and drywall walls and ceiling. New layout shall include a handicap toilet and sink in each restroom. Total approximately 100 SF. Provide one audio-visual fire alarm device (15 cd) in each restroom (2 total) and connect to the existing fire alarm system.

4.  Building 0010

Rehab restrooms. Replace finishes, toilet partitions and toilet fixtures. The interior finish materials shall be ceramic tile floors and wainscot,and drywall walls and ceiling. The new layout shall include one handicap accessible toilet and sink in each restroom. Total square footage is approximately 100 SF. Provide one audio-visual fire alarm device (15 cd) in each restroom (2 total) and connect to the existing fire alarm system. Finish walls, ceilings, and doors with primer and two finish coats of low VOC materials.
