This requirement is for Interim Contractor Support (ICS) for a unique Color Weather Radar (CWR) installed on twenty one (21) HH-60G's during the Operational Loss Replacement (OLR) Program. The 900 RDR-1600 CWR is a commercial item which has been delivered worldwide and installed on numerous military and commercial Aircraft (A/C) platforms. According to Telephonics Corporation, the repair and technical procedures remain proprietary. Implementation of the new CWR was required due to obsolescence issues and not being able to procure the CWR installed on the current legacy platform. This ICS will include technical and engineering assistance as well as spares management, repair and, to a lesser degree, technical assistance until such time as item management responsibility is assigned, a source of repair decision is made and it is transferred to the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) workload. The ICS will cover the following three (3) components of the CWR 1600-system installed on the HH-60G OLR aircraft: 1601 Receiver-Transmitter (PN:379-2011-001, NSN 5841-01-558-5785), Video Display terminal (PN: 447000-000/ (201321800-10)), and the Control Panel (PN: 3614278-1619).
