The solicitation is hereby amended to respond to vendor questions and to extend the due date for quotations as follows:

Question:  Does NIST require a transmission flat or is it the intent to use the Governments existing equipment?

Answer:  NIST plans on using existing Zygo 6 inch diamter transmissions flats and does not intend to purchase new ones unless a new system cannot accomodate the existing flats.

The due date for quotations has been extended as follows:

From: August 21, 2015

To: August 26, 2015

All other solicitation terms and conditions remain unchanged.
