The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is accepting proposals for the Intercity Bus Assistance program. This program, in conjunction with FTA 5311 operating assistance and WI Stat. 85.26, allows WisDOT to contract with private providers to improve connectivity to/between major metropolitan areas that currently lack convenient or direct intercity bus service. It also facilitates intermodal connections and creates a more effective statewide public transportation network.
