The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a local sole source contract to Berry Aviation, 1807Airport Drive, San Marcos, Texas 78666 for the following aviation fuel and services for the 2022 Air Show (Open House)

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Approximately 6,500 gallons of 100LL Aviation Gas delivered to Joint Base San Antonio Randolph in a tanker trailer.

Two fueling trucks to transfer and fuel all participating aircraft acts.

Personnel to accomplish the fueling and transfering of gas.

Submission of Capabilities

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however companies are encouraged to provide their systems capabilities if they can meet all of the above listed requirements.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), that the circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
