The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Lee, Virginia, intends to issue a sole-source award to the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence to provide comprehensive study material and testing needed to assist 91B, Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic graduate Soldiers in taking and passing a nationally recognized automotive certification test. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation.
