Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 is announcing its INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE to IHS, Inc., located at 10 North Royal Street, Alexandria, VA, 22314 for the purchase of a IHS Jane's Terrorism & Insurgency Centre and Jane's Security: Country Risk Module for Air University located at Maxwell AFB, AL. Shown below is a detailed description of the requirement:
1. Jane's Terrorism & Insurgency Centre and Jane's Security: Country Risk Module

1.0 The requirement will include a 1 year contract for 5 concurrent user licenses for the period of performance of 1 Oct 2013 to 30 Sept 2014. The following items are required for performance under this contract: electronic databases focused on global security news, issues and trends. Coverage should include on-site reporting (not just news wire services) in all regions of the world. The database must provide up to date political information and military capability for all countries. The database must provide extensive information on terrorist groups and terrorist events (current and historical). Information provided must support undergraduate and graduate academic research for Air University students, faculty and staff.
