The South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control (DHEC) is seeking qualified vendors to provide one 4200 TapeStation System for analysis of genomic DNA and nucleic acids by proprietary small-scale gel electrophoresis. The system identified herein must at a minimum: be able to perform next-generation sequencing (NGS) which provides detailed information about organism genomes giving the ability to more quickly link causative agents to patient samples; provide a complete solution for true end-to-end sample quality control within any NGS workflow, and help link organisms (Salmonella, E.coli, COVID, etc.) quickly to outbreaks in South Carolina. The next generation sequencing workflow requires extremely high-quality and size specific RNA input to produce informative genomic data.The total estimated dollar amount of the purchase is $48,294.90.
