THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. 

IAW FAR 6.302-1(a) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - this Contract is intended to be awarded as a sole source procurement to Phillips Federal Corporation to fulfill the need for parts and maintenance on OMAX Waterjets for use on Tyndall, AFB. Phillips Federal Corporation, is the only company authorized to work on behalf of OMAX for the federal government and the only company authorized to distribute parts on behalf of OMAX. This will be a 12-month base contract with two one-year options.

This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.302 and other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR 13.106(b) &FAR 6.302-1(a). This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, all proposals received by the date of close specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
