THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to enter into a contract with Tecniplast USA, Inc. of West Chester, PA, herein referred to as Contractor, for providing SealSafe small laboratory animal housing equipment. The anticipated award date is on or about August 27, 2013.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responsible sources received within four days of this posting. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona-fide capability to fulfill the requirement.
